Hi all. My husband has been recently diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and heart failure. We would still like to take a holiday this year but are finding that travel insurance prices in the mainstream companies are somewhat prohibitive. Can you recommend some companies to try? I haven't been abroad since diagnosis, and have found many companies won't even give a quote. A couple I found that did quote were All Clear and Stay Sure. They were still expensive, but maybe worth a try as I don't know how they work them out.

Hi there, I use Allclear Travel Insurance they seem to cover everything and are reasonable.

AllClear have been pleasant to deal with (just taking out the policy, not making a claim) Price fairly hefty but on par with any others we looked at. Previous bad experience with Staysure.

Try saga, they were nearly £1000 cheaper for us than staysure and all clear. My partner has heart failure, cardiomyopathy and high cholesterol. X
