Hi folks looking to go to Australia and Japan ( to see our son)later in the year, I have been shopping around trying different companies for travel insurance, declared all that I need to heart attack, stents and medications most Quotes come back roughly the same cost, I’m wondering if anyone has used Goodtogo, and if so did you ever have to claim and were they a reliable company, thanks for reading my long winded question 😊

I am having travel insurance problems to. I gave had a bypass and stents 8 years ago and my insurance was coming down. Last yr £300 for the year this time £700 for a year and £263 for one trip. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ i dont understand why. Now trying to get my husband insured after cancer its a nightmare.🙈🙈

hi there so sorry for the late reply, I found Avanti to be very reasonable compared to others my quote for our whole family to Austrians Japan for £300 , I know it’s not down in the double digits but compared to most it was good also good reviews, they were thorough with questions about meds and things but be honest with the answers and hopefully you get a better price than £700 as I think that’s way out, I wish you and yours all the very best on getting insurance and have a fantastic holiday

Hi, whilst I have no experience of Goodtogo I have also recently been looking for travel insurance for Australia. My advice to you would simply be to read all conditions particularly the exceptions very carefully before buying.I found AllClear very helpful and were very quick answering my questions in a straightforward non-jargon manner.

Hope you enjoy your trip!

thank you for your reply, I have chosen to go with Avanti due to good reviews and also a very decent price , not the cheapest but that’s not what I was looking for I just wanted streight forward good cover and that’s what I got , 3 stents and asthma for family of 4 was very pleased, hope you find what you’re looking for and have a great trip
