Dear gasp1

Intersting post,

I was taking this supplement well before my heart happening as my old self was classed as fit, very fit, well on the outside, but certainly not inside it appeared.

I took this along with a vast amount of supplements and was told to stop them all incase there was any interactions with the new meds I was put on.

Never noticed any difference at all, stopping them, other than my wallet being fatter.

Check with your Dr/Heart team or your pharmacy who can help you with the interaction of most drugs.

I used this { Cayenne Pepper } to maintain an even weight, when I had to stop all exercises/supplements, I piled on the weight big time .

But I was still eating the same volume as I did when I was active, so added what exercise I could { walking } cut down on the intake of food and keep moving when I can and the weight returned to normal and was easy to maintain.

There is no magic pill for anything, but the years of folk that have gone before us that have been experimented on with combinations of drugs, help us now and as new drugs are found we will be testing them for future sufferers until a cure is found.

Take care

always check the source of such information (e.g was it the cayenne pepper marketing board or a hot sauce producer !😉) - and also if you are thinking of acting on the information always check with a pharmacist in case of interaction with any medication you are taking - natural ingredients have been used for all sorts of medicinal purposes for centuries, they can be safe and harmless or as dangerous as any other drug when misused.

My take on all supplements is that while they may -- emphasis on MAY -- have some small positive effects, medication and to a lesser extent overall lifestyle, will have a much greater effect. I could be totally wrong but I do not believe you'll find any peer-reviewed studies on any supplement, for any condition, that shows more than a slightly positive effect. That isn't to discount folk medicine all at once, just to say that modern medication is X times more effective at reaching the desired goal...
