claiming benifits
My granddaughter has severe congenital heart disease with only one ventricle amongst other things. She has been turned down for any benefits as she can make a cup of tea. As for mobility they say she can catch a bus. She is 23. So very good luck.
I have had AVR at 72, nine months ago and it has never occurred to me to claim benefits
Sorry but on what grounds? In a previous post you said you were walking a lot. A friend's wife had a replacement valve and two others repaired somewhat over a year ago spending her 70th birthday in hospital. She often walks miles rather than use the bus. If you can walk it will improve the quality and length of your life!
i was just wondering thats all it had never occured 2 me but i friend said because i have 2 live with mechanical valve and on diff medication and depression i should try 4 it.im not going 2 apply it was just curious. thanks
Walking is the best thing for depression, a friend of mine has depression, she puts her walking shoes and goes out for a three mile walk. I walk every day, at least two miles, up hill and down dale, since my heart attack.
