Blooming heck what a night , after the ivabradine 4mg for my scan by 4 o clock I felt Not too good having slept all afternoon with chest pressure , pulse and blood pressure all over the place and a raging headache, at 8-30 I rang 111 to see if a doctor could give me a rough idea how long this takes to go out of your system usually as my heartbeat was dropping to low 50 and felt awful.111 said a paramedic would come to check me because of my symptoms, I asked should I pop to a&e they said no have spray to hand be with you soon .

I sat quietly and about 11 I rang 999 just to ask if anyone was coming , yes I was on the list be with you before you know it .At 1.30 in the morning I have to be honest I felt much better and it seemed daft for an ambulance to come when so many people were waiting so I rang 999 to explain that I believed the drug was going out of my body and felt much better , to their credit a Clinical nurse ( think that’s her title) rang me back a few minutes later to go through everything and make sure I was definitely ok and cancel the ambulance. She was brilliant 😊

I hope the NHS gets the support it badly needs from the government as they are our life line and work so hard !

Dear Hazel1010

So sorry you had the night you did, but good on you to realise that you may or may not have needed help and phoned for information.

Glad that it is all settling down,

Take care
