Taking atenolol 25mg in the morning and 12.5mg in the evening after 6 months, unexpected tinnitus from the left ear .after suffering with tinnitus for 6 months, realized that it might caused by atenolol.

Any help full advice?

Hi there,

I'm on Bisoprolol and that gives me tinnitus. There are three different "tones", but thankfully all are at a fairly low level. My main problem is getting off to sleep when there is no background noise.

Hi,I am a tinnitus sufferer,

I am also completely deaf in the one ear it affects the most, I would say the clue to your help is the last line of your text, “back ground noise”.

I ve had it for so long now,I can ignore it but what I used to do is ask my Alexa to play sea shore sounds for 30 mins then switch off.

Then your attention will be on the rhythm of the sound not the annoyance of the tinnitus.

If you search for tinnitus relieving devices on Connevans website there are under pillow speakers and sound generators. I found the Alexa device great but any clever speaker will do it😊

I've got so I can ignore it. It is most annoying when I am on the top of a remote hill wanting to enjoy the silence!
