To be fair not linked the two before. I've had tinnitus for numerous years, and recently I did think the 'ringing' had changed to a higher pitch. Is this normal or linked to starting BB's? My opinion would be there's no link it's just something that happens to some people and unfortunately it's us 🙄

Yes, me too

I have had tinnitus for some considerable time but it has changed with the meds

I would describe it more as "Whistling" or "Hissing"

Yeah well I’ve had it on and off over the years attributed mainly I think to working in industry but this has been constant 24/7 since started medication one year ago.

Have had tinnitus since my mid twenties. Wasn't on any meds back then. Sounds like when you turned off the old TVs waiting for the little dot to disappear! I'm used to it but I hate the quiet so need background noise all the time. However, since having stents I now have pulsatile tinnitus as well, but not all of the time.

Hi, I’ve had tinnitus for years but since HA and stent and meds it seems much worse. I don’t seem to hear it in my ears but in the back of my head, weird!

Hi

Mine is definitely caused by bp medication, when I stopped taking them for a week, it went away, but need to take them, so just put up with it.

Likewise, chronic Tinnitus for 20 years, worse since HA in January and changes with some med changes and after big events (stress MRI) - to be fair, it has always changed after illness, meds etc etc.

Years ago I found that when I drank a small bottle of flavoured water I developed tinnitus for a short time. Needles to say I don't touch the stuff now.

I've been taking it for years and have had no side effects like that.

But late! But I can connect my tinnitus with Moxonidine and it’s a listed side affect!
