Aspirin query

Hi everyone

I can't see my last post so trying again.

I have a new date for CAGB and have just received my email admission which states to stop aspirin 7 days before surgery.

Secretary told me on the phone only to stop clopidogrel 10 days before .

I have less than 7 days to op and wondering if others had to stop aspirin before CARB ?.

Why do you doubt what the email says?

If the email is correct about stopping the aspirin 7 days before my op , I only have 3 days left before my op . I only received the email today .When I rang the secretary on Aug 23rd she said to only stop the clopidogrel 10 days before , she didn't say to stop my aspirin.

Double check with the team. I was on Aspirin throughout but stopped Lisinopril for a couple of days.

I was told to stop Clopidogrel for a week, nothing about stopping Aspirin

Ring the cardiac nurse they no what’s going on in my experience 👍

Update , i rang the secretary who asked the surgeon and he said carry on with aspirin .Phew x
