Problem with magnesium?

Hi, been taking magnesium citrate for a few weeks, about 200 mg a day, upped it to 300 mg the last couple of days. Couldn’t sleep last night as every time I was just about to drop off , I got the sensation of falling( best way I can describe it) and I was jolted awake again. Vaguely remember someone else in here mentioning possibly magnesium at fault. Any thoughts very welcome. Thank you

Do you find it makes any difference ? All I've seen online is that it may help prevent development of afib, but nothing concrete once you have it.

I don’t feel any different , just taking it to help with withdrawal from Bisoprolol.
