My husband had another heart attack on 8th Nov, had angio on 16th 3 further stents fitted ( 6 in total now) he was feeling great for couple days, breathlessness gone and back to normal skin colour then he started to look pale again and getting chest pains that twice went off with gtn but has other pain that doesn't ease with gtn. Had ambulance out last night after speaking to 111 team but obs and ecg OK so decision was made to leave him at home ( our local Ambo crews been told to drastically reduce admissions) but he's still not right and at a bit of a loss on best action to take, sit it out and hope it's just settlement pains or risk not doing anything and it's more serious. Any advice welcome 🙂

Update....... Hubby now in A&E he collapsed on kitchen floor at lunchtime today but has no idea why or how it happened, was out of it for a min then not with it all afterwards. Crew just got him straight on board and left for hospital so I won't know anything until I get a call or txt from him later or ring the hospital to see what's happening

I am sorry to hear about your husband, I hope he is OK. Hard on you not being able to be there. If there is any way you can, I suggest pressuring them to do bypass surgery, I have never heard of so many stents. Of course, it all depends on your husbands age and general health, but if he can stand an operation, that's the course I would take.

Best wishes to you both.

Hi hubby is 53 and has had 3 previous heart attacks over last 10 years and not been in good health since 2015. Still in hospital after collapse yesterday and now saying ischamic hypertensive heart disease yet they took him off his BP meds in Nov when he had another ha and stents as said his BP wasn't high enough to warrant being on them. I've given him a list of questions to ask Dr's as everytime he's admitted they come up with another diagnosis!!!!
