You should let your company know so it is on file and they cannot claim at a later date that you did not declare something. The DVLA only need to know if there are other issues like a pacemaker, etc. If in any doubt check the DVLA website or give them a call. You can only drive once your GP/cardiologist gives you the go-ahead.

You do need to tell them if you have a bus, coach or lorry licence, and it drive for a minimum of three months.
