I suggest you read this then try a comparison website for travel insurance with pre-existing medical conditions and take it from there.

I used Staysure, I have heart valve disease amongst other things, it’s a user friendly site and I think I got a really reasonable quote.

If you are over 50 we found Saga to be very competitive, we had an annual European travel policy with them and it paid out promptly following my husbands heart attack and PE. The renewal price with my husbands heart condition fully covered was much less than I was expecting it was only about about £80 more. Always consider an annual policy as well as a single trip one as often there isn’t too much price difference if European and you are covered for all trips you take even those in the UK.

We're with All Clear. The other big two are Staysure and Avanti.Make sure you declare absolutely everything.

We tried the usual comparison sites and found most wouldn't touch us with a barge pole never mind give us a quote.

Our Policy racked up at £700 for 12 months cover for both of us

Just took mine out with staysure after lots of searching, the cheap ones wort cover the problem but cover everything else, what’s the point in that. It’s a minefield read what and where is covered. Good Luck

All sorted now Staysure we’re the best at £750 a lot wouldn’t cover me and others were over a thousand. God knows what it will be the next time we go on a cruise.

Thanks all
