Sorry. Don't get it. You seem to have forgotten the funny part.
No, the funny part is there - 'tres' is pronounced 'trace' and the magician disappeared without a 'tres' as promised. I giggled but then I speak Spanish so I 'got' the joke.
My sisters ex husband was Spanish, so her & her children speak fluent Spanish & as a result I know a smattering of it as well, which is why I got the punchline!
