What reason were you taking it, did your GP not offer an alternative? What is your heart rate when it's beating fast?

Can you GP not prescribe an alternative if you need them for anxiety? Maybe you could ring the BHF nurses tomorrow for advice

Well the story was on the 26th July went to see a Gp regarding a letter from cardiologist I had some tests done some months ago. I have some compression in the left ventricle running at 50%he wants to leave it for now but wants GP to send me in for another echocardiogram in 12months to see if it’s deteriorated. No medication was mentioned he was happy with it. I made the mistake of trying some cbd oil caps to see ifI could sleep better took them 10 days found out that there a stimulant in other words like caffeine. Stopped them just before I went to GP that Friday morning my heart went faster than normal as I do get palpitations sometimes he took my pulse 111. He thought to give me this bisoprolol to get it down. I didn’t start them for a week till the cbc oil wS out of my system. I don’t need to be on them not at this moment in time according to cardiologist. I did not mention to him about the cbd oil

Normally you would be weaned off beta blockers rather than just stop taking them, though you were on a small dose for a short period of time. I think you should speak to your GP bout your fast HR & palpitations and the cbd oil, or like I said earlier ring the BHF nurses for advice. Sorry, I don't know anything about cbd oil.
