Well here I am again still withdrawing very slowly from Bisoprolol but now for the past three days have had pain in my pelvic bone and toothache pain going down leg when walking. Have recently had x-rays and scans so I know it not arthritis. Is this another side effect of the withdrawal and can I expect more?????

Bisoprolol withdrawal
When you say you are withdrawing from Bisoprolol is this to replace it with another medicine? The purpose of this medicine is to lower your heart rate and to help the blood passed through the heart more easily and the pump (the heart) to work more efficiently. Therefore if you are withdrawing from this medicine and there is nothing to replace it, it may be that these aches and pains are caused by the heart not being able to do its job as efficiently. Anyone who has heart failure Or similar heart problems will be affected throughout their entire body, there are many aches and pains associated with this.
I only went on these because I was having palpitations. Have had loads of tests on my heart and they was all ok. The palpitations were benign so consultant started me on biso to see if that would help but they only made them worse. I have had to withdraw from them because my blood pressure was far too low and both feet numb. I don’t take any other medication.
Ah now I understand that all sounds quite normal I wish you every success with your recovery
Thank you but boy is it tough
I understand exactly how you feel. Prior to my heart failure I run three times a week and rode off road motorcycles in the mountains. I was extremely fit and active. Now I can walk to the post office just about.
As the medicines increase I am hoping this will improve but it’s a long slow road
