Morning all,

Over 3 weeks since my diagnosis and feeling mostly ok with a few rough days.

I am supposed to be going on holiday last 2 weeks of August but am feeling stressed as I have not paid the balance yet (due now) and do not have any travel insurance, the doctor said theres no reason I shouldn't go although I am going to get them to co diem that.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to where I can get insurance?

Thanks

Can't see why there would be a problem getting insurance if you're not under investigation or awaiting tests. We always use All Clear but there are a number of insurers on the BHF site who cover heart problems.

Hi Lezzers,

I am awaiting a cardio version to try and get my heart rhythm out of AF but that is just a procedure to try and help, other than that it's just long term meds to control the symptoms I suppose.

I will try all clear

Thanks

Do make sure the insurers are made aware. Hope you get the cover OK

Unfortunately if you are awaiting any test, procedures relating to that condition you may well find no insurer will cover for it.

I have multiple health issues, did an internet search, phoned a few and the one who came out best was Saga bit of a surprise. Yes it was expensive but as travelling to the Baltic thought best to.

Please don’t travel without insurance no matter where you get it from.

I was on a cruise last year became very poorly, no insurance, by the time I finished it cost me about a grand!
