Try Boots (they do insurance online). They approach it from the drugs you take rather than the usual medical condition approach (there are others that do the same but you'll have to search them out as they will not be on the comparison sites). Be prepared for a bit of a hike in what you used to be paying, but it should be possible to get a sensible quote - its just a question of searching around

Please read this article before recommending Boots Travel Insurance

The BHF has a list of Travel Insurance companies.

I use Stay Sure as well, they are one of the few companies who will insurance me.

Many thanks for the link. Interestingly, I didn't know Boots did insurance of any type until I was involved in a face to face travel insurance questionnaire with the BHF about a month ago. They (BHF) used Boots as the reference application process. It is the only reason I suggested it. I do not use Boots for my own insurance and based on the info you have provided, I will not be using them in the future either!

I do feel that an application that works from the drugs currently taken rather than the condition approach is a useful way to go - especially if you have multiple conditions. It might provide more options than the comparison website approaches (all condition lead). But as with all things insurance, it pays to shop around and then hope you never have to use it!
