I am fortunate in having been signed off by cardiologist after tests showed no problems other than ectopics (ventricular and atrial). Nothing sinister, just(!) a nuisance.
I am now trying to organise travel insurance for a long postponed holiday and the insurance company are still very heavily weighting the premium on the strength of the medication I was prescribed for a while before the tests showed it to be unnecessary.
I also have prolpase problems which are awaiting further investigations - which didn't seem to be of concern. And I am still taking endocrine therapy following successful breast cancer treatment - for which they asked for clarification of cure but were otherwise unconcerned.
Has anyone experience of anything similar? I wasn't expecting the cardiac issues still to be a problem.
TIA

I can't help you with your insurance question but just wanted to say what a relief you must feel after getting the good cardio results and that I am very happy for you. Happy holidays 🙂
Have you tried All Clear insurance worth a phone call. However medics down play the concern we patients have feeling ectopic beats ongoing beats me. They can feel dreadful I hate them and suffer from them ongoing. If they had them at the level we arrhythmia patients can they wouldnt be so dismissive.
Do you mean in relation to possible POTS? He dismissed POTS and suggested the symptoms I ascribed to it were best addressed by CBT. In effect he implied stop worrying about it! To be fair, having accepted the test results and that I only have ectopics rather than anything sinister I am getting much better at ignoring the ectopics (though I can't help but notice them!) and the tachy/ POTS has also improved. He also warned me that the ectopics would continue and I would continue to get bad patches when they were worse.
Thanks. Yes, I get bad days of ectopics and fast heart rate and a few are better days. Acceptance is one thing but putting g up with the sensations is another!
