I'm due to undergo angiography on Tuesday, with the possibility of angioplasty, if found to be necessary, at the same time. My Consultant says it will be safe to fly two weeks after (obviously subject to what is found). I am due to fly to Madeira exactly two weeks after the procedure. Does anyone know of an insurer who will cover me, especially in light of the time scales?

Sorry I cannot seeing anybody even giving you a quotation until after Tuesday's procedure. As a result of the angiogram they may take no action/change medication/put in stents then or later/carry out more tests/opt for a bypass/WHY. I had an angiogram and was told that I would probably have stents inserted the following month. After further tests and a peer review I was referred, and am now waiting for a quadruple bypass.
