Sadly my op has been cancelled as I didn’t manage to shake off the sore throat and peppery nose. Got to take a week’s antibiotics followed by a blood test, if all clear my op will be rescheduled ASAP. Fed up but know it is for the best.
Good luck Phil with your op tomorrow, keep us posted.

Thank you Rie, it is a bit unsettling but for the best. I’ll be able to do some gardening in the week to instead, aided by my lovely hubby who will do the donkey work.
So sorry Dory. I know how you feel, you get yourself all geared up for the op and then it's cancelled, so frustrating. Just look after yourself in the meantime and get over the bug. Hope you make a quick recovery and don't have to wait too long for your new date.
Dory, How frustrating for you. I can't imagine how I would have coped with a delay. Hopefully you will shake off the cold lurgy quickly and enjoy your week gardening and be rescheduled asap. Keep positive. X
Oh bless you,i empathise completely. I know i did too as it happened twice to me, you need to be tip top and its so rewarding having heart surgery.its hard on your body but worth it and i am 7weeks post op. our surgeons in the UK are just amazing.
So sorry to hear that, but there's no point taking any unnecessary risks, Your health is paramount, you need to be as well as you can to withstand the surgery safely. Take care and keep us posted. Love Margaret xx
