Op Cancelled again

Hi All

Op scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled as there isn't a perfusionist available for theatre. Op rescheduled for Thursday, go in on Wednesday. Not too long to wait.

Gives me a chance to make the Christmas pate and finish icing the cake, every cloud...

Lots more walks with Boris too, when he’s not chilling out on the sofa!

How awful it is mentally i mean.

I would be past myself..twice was bad enough

Thank you Jenny, it has been a bit of a roller coaster. I sent a message to all at the end of my post yesterday evening explaining all.

Hopefully my op will now go ahead on Thursday.

Hi Dory so sorry to hear your op has been cancelled again, you are always so positive and it is a great attitude to have.

I am having a bad day as it is 2 years today since my Mum died,we were so close and I want to talk to her about my upcoming surgery and how I feel.

Hope all goes well on Thursday and you and Boris are soon back to your long walks.

Hi All

Thank you for all your caring messages, sorry for not replying to you all individually. My op being postponed was meant to be as I travelled up north today to see my brother. He and the family found out on Thursday that he is in the late stages of lung and bone cancer and has little time left. It was kept from me as thought I would be having my op today. As that didn’t happen I was told yesterday. Been quite a roller coaster emotionally but so pleased that I could say my goodbyes.

Now I am back home I’m going to get on with my Christmas cake icing etc. and get myself ready to go in on Wednesday. Life aye!

Annette, sorry to hear you are feeling sad remembering your Mum on her anniversary, extra love to you.
