Hey Melissa, Thank you for taking your time and commenting. I am a yoyo dieter. I have always been struggling with my weight. Up and Down like a swing. I think that even the worse weight loss diet is better than eating pizza at 3am (me 2 weeks ago). I read the article, thank you.
Adele really inspired me. I noticed that after a week on this diet my stomach has shrunk and I keep reaching for healthy foods. Let's see as it might injected a healthy lifestyle in me. Or maybe it's just Adele who looks incredible,.... xx
How is your journey? are you currently dieting?
If this lifestyle of eating helps you get your bad eating habits under control, then yes it would be a very good thing. However, when you limit yourself to only certain foods you are depriving your body of much-needed nutrients. These types of diets are rarely successful long term. What is the long term? Well, I guess everyone would have their definition of that, but articles I read long term is after 5 years, at most, the weight is put back on and usually more because the healthy eating habits needed to make the real sustaining change were not learned.
As for me, I refuse to call it a diet. I am making lifestyle and eating habit changes for long term success.
