Hi I am new to this group but used to be part of Couch to 5k and a few others. I ran into some personal issues and closed account down for a week or so but back now. I previously lost 9lb in 6 weeks then gained 1lb and since then binged and ate whatever i wanted. need to curb the junk cravings asap as weigh in is this friday :(

Do this one day at a time. Find a calorie counter like myfitnesspal or nutracheck and log your food. Allow one or two treats daily so you don't feel too deprived, but make them healthy snacks where possible.

I like a toasted hot cross bun occasionally or a couple of spoonfuls of granola mixed with dried fruit to snack on, as my treat.

Drink more hot drinks - especially calorie free fruit teas or black coffee (decaff is best). Don't feel this is a race; it is more a way of learning better food habits to set yourself up for a healthier life.
