My Dad, my world

I’ve been through any and all emotions since my Dad died in April of covid-19 and other complications.

He was 63. The bubbliest and happiest man who ever lived. He was hilariously funny, kind and wonderful.

The ache and pain in my heart is indescribable. I miss him so much.

Hi maemae86

I can imagine you have, we don't even realise we possess such emotions until we suffer loss, I know I didn't, and I think you summed it up perfectly, 'The ache in my heart is indescribable {{{hugs}}}

It is, but you say it so well. 63 is so young, only 5 years older than me. This dreadful thing takes its toll. I hope you have other lovely family and friends nearby to help comfort you on your way.

The best of luck to you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Do take care of yourself.

My dad died a year last May but he was 86 and had been ill for a few years. It does take time to process. I had lots of problems with my dad which has complicated my grieving.

Your dad sounds like a lovely person. Try to think what he would say to you if he were here. I'm sure he would want you to be happy and live your life. A part of him will always be with you and around you.

He definitely would, he was the most genuinely special man and would have given anyone his last penny.

The best soul xx

You were lucky to have him as your father and nothing can ever change that or his love for you.
