Hi sorry to hear about your daughter, I cant offer a soloution to her problem but I to suffered with the two conditions all my life and in the end my bowel was removed but I am now 50 and dont think my eating habits etc helped. I would suggest a healthy diet and avoid any thing that makes it worse. But after the shock of having it removed my life is so much better now and I can do almost anyhthing were in the past I couldnt. Hope she gets better soon
Hi Trish, how old is your daughter? My daughter is 12 and suffers from behcets and sometimes they think she has crohns as well, they do all sorts of tests then rule it out again but it has been going back and forth for years whether she has the crohns additional to the behcets. My daughter also reacted badly to humira, and etanercept, then we managed on infliximab for 2.5 years but now thats not working either.
