Behçet’s in Scotland

I watched with interest the Management of Behçet’s Syndrome webinar. Not having been diagnosed with Behçet’s by the Rheumatologists I have seen over the years, I wondered if perhaps seeing Dr. Martin Perry who is based at the RAH in Paisley would be a good idea. Spoke to my GP this afternoon as I am at the end (hopefully) of a flare with just erythema nodosum lesions that they’ve given me further steroids to treat and hope that resolves those. But as I’m in a different health board from Paisley (even though the RAH is closer than where they would refer me), apparently they can’t refer between health boards in Scotland. Has anyone in Scotland come across a way to get round the rule?
