What’s this rash?
I personally get these weird rashes all the time but the diagnosis was vasculitis. It is a symptom of many autoimmune disorders but need to have rheum or dermatologist look at it. Mine seems very reactive also. Meds, not getting enough sleep or water. And stress is a huge one. Not saying this is what this is but definitely need to throw it into the mix. I'm given steroid cream as well as my Azathioprine. Hope it gets better soon. Does it hurt like a bruise or itch?
Mine was diagnosed as chronic urticaria. I had a biopsy as there is a vascular type but they said there was no vascular involvement. I get them covering my whole body and some are itchy but some sore which bruise and scar. Doctors are convinced that they scar because I scratch them but I don't. I'm glad you've posted this because I can show them I'm not the only one the next time it happens.
I'm obviously not a Dr but could be erythema nodosum? My Dr got very excited when I came out with similar. He had only seen it twice before (experience GP ~50). Which may be why Drs don't recognise it. Mine just come and go, raised red lumps that turn into a bruise and scar for a bit. They don't really hurt unless they are massive and don't itch. They range from tiny ones under my eyes to bigger ones on legs and arms. They have been better since I started taking 'cell active turmeric' by cytoplan. (I don't take any other meds that could interact) They always appear if I eat dairy or almonds and some other foods which I haven't pinned down.
This was a new symptom for me last year even though I have had Behcets symptoms for 25 years.
Hope that helps.
Thankyou everyone that’s really helpful. There really bugging me and this time taking ages to go away. As soon as some go new ones arrive. I feel so ugly with them
Oh bless you. I've spent a long time trying to get to the bottom of my symptoms. I found dairy, eggs and gluten to be a trigger for mouth ulcers, uveitis and random lumps (erythema nodosum). I also react when immune system challenged I think. And when stressed. Since my last big flare I have taken to having a green smoothie including spinach, cauliflower, broccoli and just enough fruit to make it pallitable but not too sweet each day.
I'm feeling pritty well for now and I don't feel so cognitively challenged at work. 😀

The above research inspired me to try turmeric but I'm aware that it may interact with colchicine so maybe not good if you taking any meds. The first brand I took didn't seem to make a difference but this one does I think.
I hope you find some relief from the rash and a name. I found books by Terry Whals and Amy Myers a good read. Overwheming to start but if you make one change at a time it may help.
Good luck.
Looks like erythema nodosum to me too. I'm not a Dr,, just a sufferer. I get it, usually on my legs, sometimes on my arms. With meds it stopped for about 15 years, but I recently had a bout due to extreme stress with the passing of my father. Definitely show the dr.....
