I have my 1st vaccine programmed for next week and am a bit nervous!
Has anyone had a bad reaction to the Pfizer CO... - Behçet's UK
Has anyone had a bad reaction to the Pfizer COVID vaccine?
hi Paul had both pfizer first one sore arm , headache no worse than a bad one i’ve had many times second one felt tough for few days as on muscle aches and dizzy
however no huge reactions and i do suffer odd reactions to varying medications and flu vaccines
good luck with it and stay safe
Mild soreness in the arm and slight flu like symptoms for about 24 hrs. Significantly better than the possibility of getting Covid 19.
After the first jab I had mild ankle swelling which went by itself. Thought it was running at the time that caused the swelling. Only just figured out that I have Behcets. Second jab I had to delay a few times because I had tonsillitis and then a massive flare of Behcets symptoms. I had the jab the day I finished a course of prednisolone. My knee swelled but went by itself a few days later. I think I could only blame mild symptoms on the vaccine if any. I'd do the same again. I had Pfizer one.
Good luck.
Hi Paul, I had no significant reaction to my Phizer vaccine, the muscle was sore in the spot that I received the jab. By the evening I had a headache that needed paracetamol. My arm muscle hurt for about 3 days. Other than that I was really blessed with no flare and no significant reaction. My Aunty that has Lupus had a mild fever for a full 3 weeks after receiving her Phizer vaccine. So do keep an open mind. As we all do suffer from these flares everyone's reaction is different. I even thought that my Aunty might have gotten ill at the vaccination center, hence the mild fever for such a long time. Please look after yourself and do have the shot, in the long run it will give you immunity against all these super mutations especially the Delta variant that is spreading rapidly at the moment.
Just had the vaccine - so far so good!
