Thanks for your continued posts which are always useful.
About a year ago my left foot/ankle were so painful when walking I resorted to using a stick. During the summer months it improved to the point I took great joy in using my feet again!
But for the last few months the discomfort has returned to the point I only walk outdoors with a stick. The current pain has moved to my toes. There’s a patch of visible inflammation on my upper foot at the base of my toes.
Anyone else experienced this? Sometimes I take painkillers before going for my daily walk, otherwise I’m on no other medication for Behcets.

Have you seen a GP? S/he could consider a referral to a Foot Specialist at your local hospital for expert diagnosis of the cause of the pain, e. g. Moreton's neuroma, fallen arches, Planter fasciitis, etc.
And, if it might help, a further referral can be made for assessment for an orthotic insole.
You can also get advice about what are the best type of shoes to buy.
Thank you for your reply and apologies for the delay in my thanks. I haven’t seen my GP at all during the Covid crisis and to be honest the last few times I had to visits the GP surgery before that I felt disheartened by the apparently dismissive attitude of a GP that seemed tired and stressed. With the nature I have it really puts me off going again. Maybe when the crisis situation is over...
