Hi

I make sure I travel assisted passage to prevent being overtired. I also make sure I sit in the middle of the plane to ensure that the pressure on take off and landing is even.

Best of luck.

Hi,

I live in Colorado at about 5,000 feet elevation. Activities at elevations above 7,500 feet are noticeable to me. Many resort areas in Colorado are at elevations of 8,000 to 10,000 feet. Expect to be short of breath. It takes a couple of weeks to acclimate, so don’t push it. Drink plenty of water and wear sun-protective clothes. Sunglasses help too. I always wear sun block (UVA & UVB) too. Have fun!

I travel regularly on long hauls, never had flight-caused health problems.

Beware though - some airlines do NOT accept medicines in their refrigerator. I ended up wasting the Humira that I brought with me, and even worse, almost missed one dose. I had to cut short my stay in order to make Humira shot on time.

I have also stayed at places 4,700 meters altitude - I did not have any altitude related issues. My habitual residence is less than 500 m in altitude.

Note though that I have serious issues with eyes, joints, fatigue and muscles on daily basis. I just somehow manage to not get any worse with plane rides and high altitudes.

Best of luck!!
