Fluids from genital ulcers?
Found as a female just more discharge prone and thought this was owing to changes in the build up to menopause. It’s stopped on colchicine. Best wishes
Female here, I wouldnt say leak- but pus filled....like dark white, sort of green...like a snot color? (haha weird way to put it)- i thought at one point it was discharge that had sort of just set up in the holes... as mine are very deep and wide (think pencil head eraser),... so anyways- i took a q tip to it to clean it out, and the pus was def connected to the skin and it hurt SO BAD. was definitely screaming on that one.
since having smaller ones on less flares and medicine, they start as tiny red dots, almost like a heat rash. but ultimately, they look like my mouth ones when in full fledge mode.
Yes, Houston, we have leakage. This summer I returned to my factory job (automotive/UAW shop) where it was warm and humid and I needed a light weight kilt help combat the sweating. I was using Clobetasol (the dermatologist apologized for ordering the alcohol-based gel instead of the ointment but not before I used it twice! ) Clobeasol on my johnson but the drainage turned more greenish-yellow (like a sinus infection) and worsened and then I noticed an odor not unlike "ripe" meat, past due throw it out. That was June and I'm still taking an oral antibiotic at the end of December. MERRY CHRISTMAS! In discussing the drainage w/ my derm, she said the drainage was normal for a wound such as mine (ours) as long as it was not infected. I still get some bleeding now and again and, having noticed a pattern, there seems to be some predictability in when I may bleed. Also, I've recently changed the topical to Halobetasol and started Colchicine. There may be some improvement down under but my tongue is fairly uncomfortable. That is why I'm on the computer at 0200. The first derm I saw, after I told her about the lesions sticking to my underwear, suggested pantyliners. Gentlemen it's a big help! The second dermatologist told me to put the ointment on thicker, like cake icing. Another improvement in symptoms.
Best wishes Stin4 and happy Christmas.
It’s funny you should ask that question haha. I had a strange experience when I had my first experience of genital ulcers a couple of months ago. I woke up in the middle of the night in hospital and it was like something had burst...there was a bit of blood, and like a clear liquid. Quite a bit. It also happened when I was driving to the hospital and it literally felt like something had popped. Not sure if it was one of the ulcers or the swelling I had in the area. Other than that it wasn’t so much leakage as...and profuse apologies if this response is super disgusting to anyone haha...sort of yellow pus stuff which didn’t really transfer to my underwear or anything (edit: I couldn’t wear underwear for about two weeks - loose skirts is all I could manage. But it didn’t transfer to the skirt haha). I think the doctors called the yellow stuff slough??? Again - I am soooo sorry if this is just too gross, but I figured if it helps even one person it’s worth it haha.
No I haven’t had anything leaking from the ulcers but I do have a bad thick discharge when the ulcers are at their worst. I have only had one really bad terrible horrible experience with ulcers so far and that was a year ago. Since then they have not been too bad at all. Small and barely noticeable but still painful nonetheless and make urination painful. Idk if I’m just greatful that they haven’t been at their worst or if what I go through now is the norm. For everyone else tho. Hope this helps answer what you were asking though.
