Hello Aimal, my son has worse of disease we are from India, Punjab Sikh family with genetics related to yours, so Behcets targes different populations differently....the thing that helps to calm the immune system is the plant based diet no meat no dairy - alternative milk and dairy - the american behcets disease association facebook page, you will find helpu as well, dr. Hasan Yazici's son Dr. Yusuf Yazici presented various slides on Behcets Conference - there the Mediterriean Diet and Triger of Nuts, Cheeses, is presented...that would be a good start...include more anti-oxidant rich diet, and we have family friend doctor also who manages Behcets patients, he informs us to not eat processed food, or fast food restaturant meat burgers...etc...hope you are in good care to pervent it going to your eyes and then brain...in Canada, the disease not familiar so doctors failed him, now he has brainstem involved...so please find good doctor right away!! Doctors in Middle Eastern countries are of good knowledge...prayers for you from us...

Just wanted to send a quick reply letting you know that although not many people (let alone South Asians) know of this condition, that there are those who have it (myself included).

Experimenting with cutting out gluten at the moment as well as CBD with trace amounts of THC for pain reduction, considering that I have not had much luck with the doctors that I've seen as well as the medications they've prescribed.
