Suffering

Hi, I am 61 suffering with headaches for ten days in row. Three of those days were migraines. I also had open heart surgery one month ago and I am in rehab.

I also have been having headaches for a weeks now. I am getting an mri in a few weeks of my brain. have you spoken with your cardiologist about the headaches? could be a side effect of one of the meds you're taking from the surgery.

It was from hepirin a blood thinner. So they stopped it. I had open heart surgery. Thank you for your input.

Hi Hope 911, You don't give any detail about your diagnosis or medications. I would strongly suggest that you tell your rehab' nurses and doctors your symptoms and past history and hopefully they can help you.

Ok thank you! They were giving me hepirin blood thiner. The side effects were continued severe headaches. I had open heart surgery. My cardiologist stopped the hepirin. So no headaches just I have to be careful of blood clots. Haha it never ends. Thanks for your input
