When I get ulcers down below I also get tears/splits in the skin. Does anyone else get this. Also I get a really sore throat at least once a month, could this be connected to BD?

So do I!! It is very painful. The sore throat could be BD. you would know for sure if you're not catching it from anyone nor passing the sore throats on to anyone. I get them too. Do you feel like you have flares often?

I'm in a position of having flares all the time now that I've become really good at faking wellness. No ulcers on my face, I'm nice and tanned because I live in the tropics, and I smile a lot!! So people think I'm well and I just say Thank You when they say I look great. Truth is I'm in pain. I even have ulcers on my toes and rest of my feet.

What medications are you on for BD? I'm on cyclophosphamide (I have neuro-behcets) now after being on many others. I've had four infusions so far and the fifth will be tomorrow. Alas no change YET. I'm still hopeful, however. What's helped you?

I don't pick up or pass on my sore throat so sounds like it could be BD related. I was only diagnosed a year ago so I'm on colchicine at the mo but it's not preventing the ulcers. I only get them in my mouth and down below. The ones down below are almost constant. It seems as soon as one flare up clears another one appears!

It's a difficult disease to explain so I too just smile and act like I'm ok. 😏

my son's sore throat is actually ulcers in his throat or on his tongue way way in the back. it is bad
