Is rosasea and behcets related?

I am a skin therapist and have never linked Rosecea to bechets before. I have treated rosecea clients in my salon. There does tend to be an underlying trigger and stress can play a very large part.(and triggers can vary massively) . As most b.sufferers know they can get ulcer and joint flares from stress in this vicious cycle. I suffer badly with boil like flares. It is a skins inflammation response. So i certainly wouldn't rule it out!! Treatment to calm Roseca is just so and will work v. Well but you have to find your trigger.

I have been treated for it & have BD

I am being treated for thread veins and rosacea courtesy of my Dermatologist that looks after my Bd and PsA. However, she tells me there is no specific link between the BD and the rosacea it is just that people who have BD often seem to also have triggers for rosacea purely by coincidence. This does not prove a direct connection between the two !

I hope that helps some of you who are trying to think this one through.

I also am being treated for acne rosacea. I don't think BD causes it as well, but inflammation begets inflammation.

Me too, I have BD & just last year I was told I had rosasea. I've been in a constant acne flare for 10 months with no let up. Getting really down about it now. I've been on antibiotics the whole time which has helped ease the itchiness but the acne persists. Tried steroid creams too to no avail

I do hope you find some relief, if you do let me in on the secret please x

I have definitely flared at the same time with both. Gluten was a major trigger for me and got me of antibiotics when this was learned.
