My 20 yr old daughter is about to be put on Methotrexate. However a friend of mine recommended taking Krill oil for arthritis (although my daughter only has acute pain, no swelling) which might stop the need for a drug change. Has anyone else done this and are there any side effects? She already takes Colchicine, Arcoxia, Omeprazole as well as vit D and normal omega 3. She is dairy free and vegetarian. Any thought would be welcome, especially regarding the risks of taking anti inflammatory drugs with omega 3's.
