Hi all. Apologies if this posted elsewhere. I have 3 verrucae on my feet. Initially only the one for some years and slowly but surely has spread with one to the right foot and recently, another.
I have tried EVERYTHING that can be bought over the counter and no change whatsoever. This includes: silver nitrate, salicylic acid gels, natural immune boosters, duct tape, super glue, cryo treatments (bottles & bottles worth) and bazuka... Absolutely nothing works. I went to my GP who said this isn’t covered through the NHS any longer either. I have looked at going private but this is certainly no cheap matter and looking to cost in the region of about £360 for removal.
As a child I recall having a wart burned off at my GP which was quick and worked!
Can anyone suggest anything?

Looks like it may be a postcode lottery I'm afraid for HPV treatment on the NHS : nhsinform.scot/illnesses-an... All I can advise is that we use topical imiquimod 5% for treating genital warts , you can buy this online and may perhaps work for other HPV. Please read the instructions and administration advice carefully if you do use it.
Vitamin E. oil I poke the capsule with a pin and squeeze the oil on the wart. Cover it with Duct tape and just leave it on for several weeks. The wart needs air and light to survive so the darkness of the duct tape kills it. When you take it off you will see 2-3 little black seeds, remove them with a sterile needle, and then put more vitamin E on it. I reapply duct tape again, I am not sure if you have to but I want them gone. Anyway a month later they seem to be gone. The point is to not let them get light or air.
I had a thought. You can by Silver Nitrate sticks in the UK. That is how they burned warts off here in the U.S. and still do, when we were kids. They stuck Q-tips in Silver Nitrate and froze the warts with the Silver Nitrate.
This is at Amazon UK, you can watch a YouTube video with a friend and have them help you.

I've used banana skin before and that worked a treat on stubborn verrucas. Just cut a square the size of the verruca and use a plaster to keep it on. Do this each night and in a week-2 weeks depending on how big it is, you should see it disappear.
**Update 10/12/2019**. Well this has been an experience, and HOPEFULLY, it is resolved. Travelled to Spain for a holiday in July 2019 and went and saw a Podiatrist there. She tried chemically burning them off with some Nitric Acid which, burnt like hell but were unsuccessful.
I then decided to give in to laser and went for a laser session sometime in August 2019 with Sk:n clinic in the U.K. at a whopping £240 for the treatment of all 3. This treatment was effective on the 2 newer verrucae on my right foot which were the 2 newest of the 3 and this treatment was also very painful. The third (and oldest) was adamant that it was not going anywhere (SERIOUSLY, SERIOUSLY ANNOYING!!!).
Went on holiday to South Africa in November 2019 which is when is started becoming clear that the third was just not going to go. Decided to make contact with a GP there, who offered electrocautery (electrosurgery). They used local anesthetic and have actually cut into my foot to remove it. The GP did say that it was deep and therefore was living off blood supply deep in my foot, hence why nothing at all would work. Put me on a course of antibiotics as well and a few weeks later, it's healing and is looking like I am finally rid of this vile, vile thing. Directly converted back to £'s, I paid about £100 which included the prescription drugs afterwards.
All in all, I have spent 100's and 100's of pounds of trying to get rid of this thing, almost wish I had just gone for the most invasive from the beginning.
