I think if it's just one day and not really a prolonged one there's any reason to worry. The coils are non-hormonal and acts on as a spermicidal agent... there's more to it than just that. The copper ion is responsible for more prostaglandin secretion which naturally can make the AF heavy or painful. The tubal fluid also increase which I think might trigger growth in the endometrium which again cumulitively can increase the bleed volume during AF. However, keep a watch on the pattern... it's important to know and be able to distinguish between normal heavy bleed and any abnormality. Because it's suspended inside your uretus somettimes there's wear and tear inside which might get a bit frisky if the coil continue to pierce in the walls. From your two lines it doesn't really indicate the latter so I guess for now you can relax and if needed just to be extra sure you can go to doc and get it checked. Stay well
