I’m on the combined pill and have been for three years and this month I haven’t had my withdrawal bleed. I was a bit all over the place with my pill this month as I kept loosing track of when I’d taken it ect, but me and my boyfriend used condoms just Incase. I’ve read a lot online about it being normal or common for someone to miss a withdrawal bleed, but it’s never happened before and I’m so scared I am pregnant. I’m going to go and get a test today I just wondered if this has happened to anyone else.

Hi E991 , I think its a good idea to do a pregnancy test just in case. You can sometimes not have a withdrawal bleed on the combined pill. I don't know what "all over the place " means in terms of missing pills etc . Have you considered other types of long acting contraception, if your pregnancy test is negative ? Please remember it takes three weeks usually for a test to show anything, so if you have had very erratic pill taking, you might need to retest later on. If you and your boyfriend have been using condoms 100% of the time, then there should be no risk.
