I was bleeding every day 2 years I was sore and anemic on txa and other drugs to help. After my 3rd child was born in was depressed.my first coil came out #wires too long and after pre cancer acute discoria cervical surgery i was worried that it wouldn't be ok as my first one was rejected by my body.. however a junior doctor savaged my 2nd one in and after still bleeding I'd given up hope.. about 8 weeks in my bleeding seemed to get lighter and by 13th week years of bleeding had stopped. Wow. I've put weight on but other meds like gabapenthin for a different condition may be responsible. I've had a few blook pressure issues but again this could be hereditary or meds related . I don't bleed at all now doc says 2 more coils may take me through the change.. I feel so privileged to not bleed 24/7 and thank you nhs. X

Wait, are you talking about an IUD, Mirena? Dude, I had no clue. I thought you were so confused, lol, which you actually are because you keep saying "marina", which is a harbor and definitely isn't an IUD. There have been HORRIBLE reviews about IUDs. I even know someone who developed a disgusting infection from one. Why wouldn't you just get the Depo Provera shot? It is MUCH safer. Also, if you don't want to bleed, why don't you get endometrial ablation, like NovaSure? I don't believe it's a form of birth control, but it surely stops the bleeding of menstrual cycles.
