Now have I moved my coil or have I just caused a twinge in my bowels?

So I've had my copper I.U.D in for a year now, I checked my strings last week in the shower (thankfully) I felt the strings and felt the normal uncomfortable feeling that I get when I touch them. But when I stood up there was black liquid poo on the shower floor and it was still coming out my back end without me being able to tell but it stopped pretty quickly. I do have I.B.S but I wasn't having any sort of attack and I've never had anything like that. I have sort of came on like heavy spotting and I had really bad cramps the day before I came on which I've not had for a while. Now have I moved my coil or have I just caused a twinge in my bowels?
