Hi, I’m just seeing if anyone out there knows about the coil? I got it fitted over a year ago now and I haven’t had a period or problem untill 2 days ago were I’ve been spot bleeding and then come on my period, it’s just normal red blood but some times has a bit of brown in but only seen it once and I have period pains again. If anyone has any advice or could help that would be good!

Have you checked your strings are in place?? Is it copper or marina? It could be that it just took a year to settle in or it could be that it’s stopped being affective so I’d check it out

I never had a period the 5 years I had mirena coil in which was fantastic. I would maybe make an appointment to see the Dr if you still feel like this in a months time. Write down when you have spotted bled etc and when you had pain so the Dr has something to go by good luck
