Switching Birth control pills

I'm new here! I have been taking Rigevidon for a while now, and I've spoken to my doctor and will be switching to Gedarel, both are 21 day pills, Rigevidon is levonorgestrel/ ethinylestradiol and gedarel is ethinylestradiol/ desogestrel. I'm currently on week 2/3 of my Rigevidion pack, I wanted to know if it was okay to start a pack of the different type of pills immediately or if I should wait for the current pack to finish and then immediately start a gedarel pack?
