I just got my first pack of birth control pills (28 day pack). They are labeled by the day and I started on Tuesday, the third pill in the pack. That was the same day I started my period. There were 2 pills before that one & I was wondering if I should have started with the 1st one in the pack. What should I do? Does it matter if I take the pills in a different order than they came in the pack ?

Hiya, no it doesn’t matter. The pack goes in order just to help people remember the days they’ve taken etc. As long as you take a pill on the days you’re supposed to, that’s all that matters. It’s just for the purpose of organisation xxx
If it’s a 28 day pack, aren’t the last week of the 4 rows placebo pills? If so, don’t take the last four till you finished the first three rows.
