Reassurance on cycle after stopping the POP

Hi all,

I’m just seeking a bit of advice on where I would be in my current cycle.

I stopped taking Zelletta (a POP pill) on the 22nd November after taking it for nearly 4 months. The first bleed I had on that pill in early August was very irregular (about 14 days long), but in September and October I had bleeds that lasted about 5 days each, toward the end of the month. On the day after stopping taking the pill (about 30-ish days after my last bleed began) I bled for another 5 days, so I assume that was my withdrawal bleed.

It’s now 12 days since that bleed began, and for 2/3 days I’ve had tender nipples, pains in my abdomen and hips and back, and had some yellow/brown discharge yesterday. I’m also having more clear-ish discharge than normal. It’s been 23 days since I last had sex (using a condom and pill) and a pregnancy test today came back negative, and since stopping the pill I’ve not had sex. The closest I’ve came is maybe having some contact with a small bit of pre-ejaculate about 3 days ago whilst the male was wearing boxers and shorts, which I’m pretty sure would be okay.

I was just wondering if this is my first ovulation? Before the pill my periods would last about 7 days and I think the cycles were between 28-30 days. I just haven’t had sore breasts or brown discharge before. However, as I wasn’t on the pill long and my bleeding never completely stopped, I think my cycle would go back to normal quickly.
