Colposcopy side affects

Has anyone on here had a colposcopy and have cells removed? I'm currently experiencing a smelly odour which has lasted nearly two weeks. It's been 3 weeks since I had the cells removed, should I be worried about the foul odour or could it be an infection?

Firstly, you need to see your Gp about the odour. Sometimes it is possible to have one but not have an infection... but it's best to get it checked out.

Secondly, I was found to have abnormal cells and had a colposcopy. etc. It's nothing to worry about although you will feel a bit sore afterwards. Following on from that, I had regular checks done as a matter of routine and no problems ever developed.

I hope it will be the same for you.

Take care
