Blood clot history/mini pill

Hi. In 2009 I had a blood clot. I have been on the nhs advice pages and saw that the mini pill was a safe option. Today I have been prescribed carelle. I have read the information leaflet and it appears to be conflicting to the nhs advice about mini pills. It says on the leaflet not to take if you have had a blood clot.

So it is safe to take? If so, on the nhs page it says I can start straight away but on the leaflet it says wait until my period.

Don't go on the pill if you have had a blood clot because they can increase the chances of getting one e.g Yasmin, so just don't do that plz
