Mirina Coil

I have had the Mirina coil fitted for about 3 years now and have been lucky to never have a period or any problems. This month I have had what seems to be a period, and cramps and high emotions. is this normal? do I need to worry it isn't working anymore?

You can get erratic bleeding on the mirena coil, it you think your symptoms are out of the ordinary or if you've had a risk for sexual infections / have other symptoms like tummy pain / pain during sex / unusual discharge probably best to get it checked out in a contraception / sexual health clinic.
