Vaginal odour

I will shower before I go to bed and when I wake up, I can already smell my vaginal odour! This has led to me to wear pads for the day. I just can not take this smell no longer.

Is this normal?

What can I do for this? I really hate the doctors

Could try getting some BV medication. Google the best place get it. If that don't clear it up go to your local sexual health clinic.

Yes unfortunately. I suffered with it for a while when I was younger too. I know it's horrible to deal with but it won't be like that for ever. Google bv , what causes it and the best treatment. Don't use soap to try and clean it just water.

I wouldn't say vaginal odor is 'normal' but I would say it is common. A healthy vagina needs a more acidic PH and lots of healthy laco bacteria which keep it 'clean' and smelling inoffensive. Some people suggest douching with yoghurt to get some good lactobacteria up in there but I think consuming some probiotic supplements from a Health Shop is a better idea. You may have an infection that needs antibiotics.

It's bacterial vaginosis, got to the actors and yet the pills or vaginal cream or they do sells the creams/ gels over the counter at chemist.

I know you hate the doctors but your visit shouldn't last more than half an hour and then at least you'll know what it is.
