What A Birthday I Had !
Paramedics gave me
atrovent
inhaler which eased the breathing but I refused to go to our local hospital because it is their consultant who asked me why I thought I had lung damage with bronch. Next day battled with my consultants's bronch nurse to have her told what was happening.

Difficulty swallowing, loss of appetite and clogged eustachian tubes.
It is known that a symptom of difficulty swallowing is associated with B12 deficiency. How I experienced it was not accepted by the medics I hired. At times usually at night I would aspirate/choke on food and sometimes fluid my whole life. This is often called having go down the wrong tube. It was

My experience with Eustachian tube fluid build up and solution.
I post here as some on this forum helped me discover a solution. It is my understanding that the problem was caused by the difficulty swallowing caused by B12 Deficiency. The Eustachian tube is closed the majority of the time. It opens in response to pressure changes including when swallowing. About

Trimbow eligibility??
I was also going to ask to switch back from
Atrovent
to Spiriva a) for convenience and b) to reduce the environmental impact of the propellant in line with current recommendations. Sticking with pMDIs not dry powder due to better lung deposition.

Y'all did it again. Thank you!
So I was DX with chronic swimmers ear and told all I could do was treat with alcohol and vinegar. I read here about blocked Eustachian tubes and did some reading. So far I have been able to self treat with trying to pop my ears and swallowing. If I can not keep up I know the next step is to buy Otovent

autoimmune hearing problems
I’ve posted this on SRUK forum too. Sorry this goes on a bit. Along with my UCTD with systemic sclerosis gut problems I’ve developed, I’ve had hearing problems for years. I’ve never really thought it could be another autoimmune problem but recently I couldn’t hear my own voice. I wear hearing aids and

The joy of the unclear diagnosis 😂
For the past few years my regimen has been as follows: INHALERS Seretide 125/25 (could probably reduce to 50/25 to be honest, the long acting beta agonist has been the most useful bit of this)
Atrovent
inhaler TABLETS NACSYS 600 OTHER Hypertonic saline nasal spray Hypertonic saline nebuliser

Will this go by August?
So it's been just over a month since I've had T caused by clarithromycin. Since I last posted I've seen a high street audiologist for a hearing test and to discuss the T. No hearing loss, which is good right? Hearing loss can make T caused by antibiotics permanent, I've read. The audiologist sent a

Covid supplementary treatment: Citirizine
I also used saline, salbutamol and
Atrovent
nebs, and my Airphysio to clear my lungs. A friend’s GP had recommended taking Citirizine, an anti-histamine so I agreed that with my own GP too. It seems that the body’s immune system over-reacts and that is what causes the exhaustion etc.

Nebuliser
Pulmonologist has taken me off revlar ellipta and incruse as he said it’s not getting into lungs and prescribed
atrovent
and pulmicort nebulisers. After 6 days I’m certainly no better and maybe worse. I’ve finished the antibiotics and weaning off prednisone.
